Ways To View Windows 8 Apps and Desktop Side by Side
Windows 8 has a feature by which you can view this metro-style apps and the traditional desktop on the same screen. It makes you able to view two Windows 8 apps on the same screen.

With the help of mouse flitter the pointer left and right corner of the screen. Then you have to move the mouse straight up or down to open the App Switcher. This is a new feature of the Windows 8 that will display tiles of running apps. Or you can also use Windows Key + Tab key combination from your desktop to display it.
Then you have to make a right click on an app and choose Snap to Right or Snap to Left. If you are using the keyboard shortcut to display the App Switcher hold the Windows key while you right click on the app you want.
Then you have to slide the screen over to make either the desktop.
This feature will allows you to snap open programs to the left, right or full screen. So if you want to do some serious multitasking, you can have two windows open on the desktop and a Windows 8 app open on the same screen.
